Hemant Soren Chief Minister of Jharkhand
Hemant Soren will be the 44-year-old JMM leader’s second stint as Jharkhand chief minister along with soren congress party leader Alamgir Alam, state president Ramesh Oraon and RJD MLA Satyanand Bhokta, were also sworn in as cabinet minister in Jharkhand.
In-state assembly election, the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance triumphed over BJP, Winning 47 seats in 81 member house, four other MLA three from JVM and one from the communist party of India(ML)have also extended support.
Governor Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to Hemant Soren in the presence of top opposition leaders, including former congress president Rahul Gandhi and other thousands of supporters.
Tackling growing unemployment and the farmer crisis and ensuring reservation for locals is the top agenda for the alliance led by the JMM as it prepares to form the government in Jharkhand.
