Alok Sagar
Who Once Taught Raghuram Rajan and Now Working With the Tribal People.
As We Know Teaching is considered as one of the noblest jobs. But, nowadays, people take it as an easy way to mint money. Even the equation of a teacher with a student has changed immensely over time. But, there are always exceptions who make our world a better place to live.
I am talking about a social worker and a professor from IIT Delhi who quit his job to serve the less privileged section of society. He has a Ph.D. degree from Houston.
Alok Sagar left a lucrative paying job to serve the tribal people of Madhya Pradesh, and people can’t stop talking about him.
Come, let’s take a look at the inspirational story of this unsung hero.
Alok has taught the former governor of RBI .So the former governor of RBI Raghuram Rajan is Alok Sagar’s student.
He is a learned man and has an undergraduate and masters degree from IIT-Delhi, and a PhD from Houston University in Texas, US.
Alok Sagar left everythings in life when he realised that it is meaningless and his true calling is not teaching but serving the people.

Then He moved to a remote village of Madhya Pradesh
From past 26 years, Sagar is living in Kochamu, a place that has no supply of electricity and proper roads to travel.
A close source from an Ashram Sangathan said this about Alok:
“He is focused about nature and has been educating people on growing trees and taking care of the environment. He is a simple man who does what he says and means.”
You might be wondering why this man is suddenly getting all the attention, well, if it wasn’t for Betul’s recent district elections, Sagar’s identity would still be under the wraps.
He Has Been Mistreated
The village authorities always found him suspicious and even wanted him to leave the village but when they came to know about his real background and qualifications they were shocked and happy.
